Why we built this

The story of barbershop lives in the memories of its singers — and those memories are leaving us.

Every retired singer carries decades of it: the contests, the chapters they built, the directors who shaped them, the night a chord finally rang. When they go, it goes with them. RingHub exists to catch that story before it's lost — and to keep it living, not embalmed. Legacy and aliveness in the same breath: "in 1938…" and "a quartet made history last night."

This isn't another social network. It's a place to witness the story of the thing you love, told beautifully — and to help write the next chapter of it.

When you join, you're not signing up for a feed — you're adding your voice to a grand project. Here's what that means:

Tell your story

Your years in the hobby become part of the record. Bob, the society's oral historian, remembers all of it — so the next singer can hear it.

Bring your chorus & quartet

Your quartet gets a home page. Your chapter gets a modern website. Members find each other — across town or across the world.

Keep it ringing

Every story you add helps a chorus retain a new singer, a newcomer find their footing, and a tradition outlive the people who remember it.

Trust

We don't sell your data; we can't, by design. No ads. Bob doesn't see private messages between members — by architecture, not by promise. Yes, this is AI, but done right. Ask Bob about privacy and he'll tell you straight.

We're incorporating as a public-benefit corporation to lock the mission in legally.
